A personal note:
There is many talks and publications about sustainable agriculture, and here at the Newe Ya’ar Research Center we got the opportunity to fulfil it in a real model farm. In the Unit of MAP we are involved in the research and development of essential oils and plant extracts bioactivity against weeds, pests and plant diseases. We also work on the use of the aromatic plant vetiver for soil stabilization and bioremediation of soil pollution such as diesel residues, heavy metals etc.
